This gorgeous antique barley twist leg dressing table is the only family heirloom I have so I wanted to do it justice. It was tricky as I was unable to take the handles off which I would normally do, and the small drawers won’t open. It also had so many layers of old paint on, it took me 3 days to strip down… but it was worth it in the end! With it being so old and ‘well loved’ there are lots of dents and deep scratches, but I think it adds to the charm of the piece… they are part of its (and my family’s) history after all ❤️
