Bardell Living Room
The lovely clients for this commission had a few requirements: they are quite tall so I couldn't use light fittings any longer than 30cm in height (I wanted something spectacular - not easy finding these ones!!), they wanted to keep the TV and side units in the wood and keep the blind in the recess of the window. They allowed me to paint the coving the same colour as the walls to give the room a sense of height, and paint the fireplace (just needed a new fire at the time of taking these photos).
I had originally chosen a gold coloured suite, but again as the clients are quite tall, it wasn't large enough. We therefore chose an alternative, which, although is a completely different colour to my original choice, still compliments the room whilst now meeting their requirements.

After… I had originally chosen a gold coloured suite but it was too small for the clients. We therefore chose an alternative which, although is a completely different colour, still compliments the room whilst also meeting the clients requirements.

Before…

After… Bespoke radiator cover, handmade bespoke triple lined curtains, and reupholstered high back wing chair.

Bespoke made to measure radiator cover. I painted it a pretty yellow to lift the room. Matching unit on other side of the room.

Bespoke, handmade triple lined curtains with contrasting leading edge and crystal trim. Matching blind on other window.

The clients wanted to keep the wooden TV unit as it is, so I had various pictures framed in dark wook to bring it into the room more. Also, a new fire has yet to be fitted at this point.

Before…

Ottoman table with a sunken smoked glass top. Also, I was unable to have light fittings any longer than 30cm high, so was very pleased to find these stunning crystal flush chandeliers.

After…The clients wanted to keep the wooden unit as it to match the TV unit.

Fireplace painted in stone effect paint - just the fire itself to be fitted at the point of taking the photo.

Handmade bespoke roman blind to match curtain, with contrast trim and crystal detail.

Before…

After… I painted the coving the same colour as the walls to give the room a sense of height. I had also wanted to paint the door and skirtings the same colour, however the clients requested they remain white.

Ottoman table with sunken smoked glass.

After… I wanted to make this ottoman table into something special. The upholsterer ‘rolled’ the top edge and it now has a sunken smoked glass top.
